- Truvada is a prescription HIV nucleoside analog reverse transcriptase inhibitor (HIV NRTI) available in multiple countries including the United States, Canada, Italy, and the EU. It was first marketed in 2004. It is available in an Oral Tablet, film-coated, an Oral Tablet, coated, and an Oral Tablet. It contains two active ingredients: Emtricitabine and Tenofovir disoproxil, in its salt form Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate. Emtricitabine is a medication used to treat and prevent HIV. Tenofovir disoproxil is a medication used to treat hepatitis B infection and to manage HIV infection.

Abrocitinib The serum concentration of Tenofovir disoproxil can be increased when it is combined with Abrocitinib. Aceclofenac Aceclofenac may increase the nephrotoxic activities of Tenofovir disoproxil. Acemetacin Acemetacin may increase the nephrotoxic activities of Tenofovir disoproxil. Acetaminophen Tenofovir disoproxil may decrease the excretion rate of Acetaminophen which could result in a higher serum level.
