Interferon alfa-n1 is a purified form of human interferon used to stimulate the innate antiviral response in the treatment of genital warts due to human papilloma virus. Interferon alfa-n1 consists of purified, natural (n is for natural) alpha interferon subtypes, at least two of which are glycosylated.
