PGX-100 is an intravenous dosage form of modified heparin. It is developed for treatment of exacerbation of obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and for the prevention and treatment of cardiac ischemia reperfusion injury (following acute myocardial infarction (AMI). It is a nearly nonanticoagulant heparin derivative that retains its anti-inflammatory activity.
