Furvina (G1) is an antimicrobial agent active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeasts, and filamentous fungi. Furvina is marketed in Cuba as Dermofural®, an ointment containing G1 as the only active principle ingredient. It is used to treat dermatological infections.1
