XPro1595 is an investigational dominant-negative protein that neutralizes soluble TNF.
- Mechanism
- Curator reviewed
XPro1595 is a PEG-ylated human TNF variant lacking TNF receptor-binding ability. It forms inactive heterotrimers with native solTNF, preventing them from binding to TNF receptors. Studies show that this compound is neuroprotective through its anti-inflammatory effects.
