GLB-001

GLB-001 is being investigated for its potential antineoplastic activity, aiming to inhibit tumor cell proliferation in cancers where casein kinase 1 alpha (CK1a) is a relevant target, such as leukemic stem cells. GLB-001 is an orally bioavailable molecular glue degrader that targets casein kinase 1 alpha (CK1a), a serine/threonine kinase. The drug's mechanism of action involves binding to both CK1a and an E3 ubiquitin ligase, forming a ternary complex. This ternary complex induces E3 ligase ubiquitination and subsequent proteasome-mediated degradation of CK1a, thereby inhibiting CK1a's activity.
