- Abstract
A glucose-tolerance test was performed in a number of healthy volunteers before and after a single dose of intravenous sodium thiopental. During this test, serum insulin levels were determined at similar intervals. A small but significant decrease in glucose tolerance, not related to serum insulin levels, was seen.
