EB05, in combination with standard of care (SOC), is being investigated in clinical trial NCT04401475 to evaluate its safety and efficacy in adult hospitalized patients with COVID-19 and ARDS.

Mechanism: EB05 potently inhibits TLR4 and has the potential to broadly block TLR4 ligands, dampening its signalling through inhibition of receptor dimerization. Inhibition of this pathway may reduce inflammation and subsequent lung injury.
