Drug Drug Description Acetazolamide A carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used to treat edema from heart failure or medications, certain types of epilepsy, and glaucoma. Benzolamide Not Available Brinzolamide A carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. Diclofenamide A carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used for the management of open-angle and secondary glaucoma, as well as acute angle-closure glaucoma in delayed pre-operative setting requiring a reduction in intraocular pressure. Dorzolamide A carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used to treat high intraocular pressure in ocular hypertension and open angle glaucoma. Ethoxzolamide For use in the treatment of duodenal ulcers, as a diuretic, and in the treatment of glaucoma, and may also be useful in the treatment of seizures associated with epilepsy. Indisulam Investigated for use/treatment in lung cancer. Methazolamide A carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used to treat open angle glaucoma and acute angle closure glaucoma.
