Zofin has preventative potential as it contains exosomes carrying several miRNAs that are involved in the promotion of immune regulation and response and miRNAs that target ACE2 (https://go.drugbank.com/polypeptides/Q9BYF1). It is hypothesized that these miRNAs mentioned may boost the immune response and decrease COVID-19 infection severity. Zofin is being investigated against COVID-19.
