Pitavastatin

Pitavastatin is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor used to lower lipid levels and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease including myocardial infarction and stroke. Pitavastatin, also known as the brand name product Livalo, is a lipid-lowering drug belonging to the statin class of medications.
