Drug Drug Description Epirubicin An anthracycline topoisomerase II inhibitor used as an adjuvant to treating axillary node metastases in patients who have undergone surgical resection of primary breast cancer. Methotrexate An antineoplastic agent used the treatment of a wide variety of cancers as well as severe psoriasis, severe rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Ponatinib A kinase inhibitor used to treat patients with various types of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Maraviroc A CCR5 co-receptor antagonist used with other antiretroviral medications to treat CCR5-tropic HIV-1 infection. Docetaxel A taxoid antineoplastic agent used in the treatment of various cancers, such as locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer, metastatic prostate cancer, gastric adenocarcinoma, and head and neck cancer. Valproic acid An anticonvulsant used to control complex partial seizures and both simple and complex absence seizures. Ketoconazole A broad spectrum antifungal used to treat seborrheic dermatitis and fungal skin infections. Trastuzumab emtansine An antineoplastic agent and antibody-drug conjugate used to treat HER2-overexpressing breast cancer. Mipomersen An oligonucleotide drug used for the treatment of homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. Lomitapide A microsomal triglyceride transfer protein inhibitor used to lower cholesterol associated with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH), reducing risk of cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction and stroke. Trimetrexate A folate antagonist used for the treatment of moderate-to-severe Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia (PCP) in immunocompromised patients as an alternative therapy in combination with leucovorin. Acitretin An oral retinoid used in the treatment of severe psoriasis. Peginterferon alfa-2a A modified form of recombinant human interferon used to stimulate the innate antiviral response in the treatment of hepatitis B and C viruses. Tipranavir A protease inhibitor used to treat HIV-1 resistant to more than 1 protease inhibitor. Idelalisib An antineoplastic kinase inhibitor used to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), relapsed follicular B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (FL), and relapsed small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). Onasemnogene abeparvovec A gene therapy used to treat neonatal and infant patients with spinal muscular atrophy caused by bi-allelic mutations in the survival motor neuron 1 (SMN1) gene. Bortezomib A proteasome inhibitor used to treat multiple myeloma in patients who have not been successfully treated with at least two previous therapies. Asparaginase Erwinia chrysanthemi An asparagine-specific enzyme used as part of a chemotherapeutic regimen to treat patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and lymphoblastic lymphoma.
