Drugs used in the treatment of tuberculosis. They are divided into two main classes: "first-line" agents, those with the greatest efficacy and acceptable degrees of toxicity used successfully in the great majority of cases; and "second-line" drugs used in drug-resistant cases or those in which some other patient-related condition has compromised the effectiveness of primary therapy.

Capreomycin An aminoglycoside antibiotic used as an adjunct drug in tuberculosis. Ethionamide A second line antitubercular agent used to treat tuberculosis when other treatments have failed. Amprenavir A protease inhibitor used to treat HIV infection. Rifapentine An antibiotic agent used in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis. Sparfloxacin A fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial respiratory infections and sinusitis. Rifalazil Investigated for use/treatment in atherosclerosis, bacterial infection, and peripheral vascular disease. Pretomanid Part of a three-drug regimen used for the treatment of extensively drug-resistant and multidrug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis. Viomycin Viomycin is an essential component in the drug cocktail currently used to fight infections of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Bedaquiline A diarylquinoline antimycobacterial used in combination with other antibacterials to treat pulmonary multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). Enviomycin Cyclic basic peptide related to viomycin. It is isolated from an induced mutant of Streptomyces griseoverticillatus var. tuberacticus and acts as an antitubercular agent with less ototoxicity than tuberactinomycin. Pazufloxacin Pazufloxacin is under investigation in clinical trial NCT02592096 (Pazufloxacin Mesilate Ear Drops Clinical Trial Protocol). Protionamide An antitubercular thioamide-derivative used in the treatment of multi-drug resistant (MDR) tuberculosis and leprosy. Amithiozone Amithiozone has been used in trials studying the treatment of Mycobacterium Avium-intracellulare Infection. Delamanid An antibiotic used to treat multidrug resistant tuberculosis. Terizidone Terizidone has been used in trials studying the treatment of Tuberculosis, HIV Infections, Multidrug Resistant Tuberculosis, and Extensively-drug Resistant Tuberculosis. Morinamide A second-line pyrazine anti-tuberculosis agent. Tiocarlide Not Annotated Ethambutol An antituberculosis agent used in the prophylaxis and treatment of tuberculosis (TB). Pyrazinamide An antituberculosis agent used as a component of tuberculosis (TB) treatment. Rifabutin An antibiotic used to treat mycobacterium avium complex disease in patients with HIV. Isoniazid An antibiotic used to treat mycobacterial infections; most commonly use in combination with other antimycobacterial agents for the treatment of active or latent tuberculosis. Rifampicin An antibiotic used to treat several types of mycobacterial infections including Mycobacterium avium complex, leprosy, and in combination with other antibacterials to treat latent or active tuberculosis. Streptomycin An aminoglycoside antibiotic indicated to treat multi-drug resistant mycobacterium tuberculosis and various non-tuberculosis infections. Rifamycin An antibacterial used to treat traveler's diarrhea. Pyridoxine A vitamin used to correct vitamin B6 deficiency and to treat nausea during pregnancy. Sulfamethoxazole An oral sulfonamide antibiotic, given in combination with trimethoprim, used to treat a variety of infections of the urinary tract, respiratory system, and gastrointestinal tract.
